Japan Travel Guide
Japan, an archipelago brimming with timeless traditions and cutting-edge innovations, offers a unique blend of the old and new that captivates every traveler. From its bustling cities to its serene countryside, Japan is a land of contrasts that invites exploration and discovery.
When to Visit Japan? Japan is beautiful all year around and I would love to experience Japan in all its different seasons.
Spring (March to May): Spring in Japan is famous for cherry blossoms, which draws in people from all around the world. The weather is mild but expect huge crowds around this time.
Summer (June to August): Summers are hot and humid, but you will find lesser crowds. Coastal regions and Hokkaido offer cooler escapes and outdoor activities.
Autumn (September to November): Autumn is another perfect season to visit Japan with its colorful foliage. The pleasant temperatures make it ideal for sightseeing and nature walks.
Winter (December to February): Winters are cold with snowfall in northern regions, offering excellent skiing in places like Hokkaido. The crowds are also lesser around this time.
Japan’s currency is the Japanese Yen, abbreviated as JPY and symbolized as ¥.
1 JPY = 0.55 INR (currently)
Japan is one of the safest places one can visit and I don’t think I ever experienced any fear at any point of the day or night here. It’s also one of the best places for solo travellers to visit.
